Cladding Over Pebbledash and Render
You can often clad over pebbledash or render without stripping the wall, provided the wall is sound. A batten frame gives a flat, ventilated base for the boards.
We check first. We tap for hollow areas, look for cracks and check for damp, including inside the house. Loose material or moisture must be dealt with before fitting.
If your render only looks dirty, soft washing may be all you need, and we'll tell you. Otherwise, see composite cladding and costs.
