Signs it's time. Your conservatory could need a new roof if it's too hot in summer, too cold in winter, leaking or running with condensation. It may also be loud in the rain, or simply used as a storeroom.
What you get. We remove the old roof and fit a new one, with insulation, your choice of tile finish and a plastered ceiling. Roof windows can be added to bring in daylight. The result feels like part of your home, and you can use it all year.
Your options. Most homes suit a warm roof with a tiled finish. If your main concern is an old glass or polycarbonate roof, we'll explain what replacing it involves. If you've seen cheaper panels, compare them with our roof insulation guide.
Every shape covered. We fit roofs on Victorian, Edwardian, lean-to, double-hipped, gable-end and P-shaped conservatories, plus orangeries and bespoke designs.
What it costs. Worked examples range from £7,300 to £14,400, depending on size, shape, roof windows and finish. See our full cost guide, or use the price estimator. Your survey then gives you a fixed written price.
How it works. Free survey, then a written quote you can keep for 90 days. Once you go ahead, we agree a date and fit the roof, usually in 2 to 4 working days. We then arrange building control sign-off and give you your guarantee documents.
Welsh rules. Roofs are fitted to Welsh standards. A solid roof can change how a conservatory is treated under building regulations, so we deal with this from the start. Read our building regulations guide.
The structure comes first. We check your frame and base before recommending anything, and we'll tell you if the conservatory isn't suitable. See what we check.
Guarantee. New roofs come with a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee and a 40-year tile guarantee. We'll show you exactly what each covers.
